Career Notes
2004-Gengler did not appear in a match for Nebraska during the 2003-04 season.
Before Nebraska-A four-year letterwinner for head coach A.J. Santos at Lincoln Pius X High School, Gengler earned a state championship his junior season, while adding a runner-up showing as a senior. Gengler went 122-21 during his career, including 36-1 as a senior. He also lettered two times in cross country.
Personal-The son of Dennis and Theresa Gengler, Issac was born Oct. 2, 1984. Issac has one older brother and four younger siblings. He has not declared a major.
