Todd Beckerman joined the Nebraska coaching staff for the 2002-03 season after completing his eligibility the previous season. He helped guide the Huskers to a 16-7 dual record, before finishing fourth at the Big 12 Championships and 13th at the NCAA Championships.
Beckerman was a four-year letterwinner at Nebraska from 1997-2001, qualifying for the NCAA Championships three times. He recorded two top-five finishes at nationals with a fourth-place showing in 2000 as a junior and a fifth-place effort in 2001 as a senior. Beckerman finished his career with a 98-49 record.
Beckerman was also a four-time medalist at the Big 12 Championships, finishing second in 2000 and 2001 while claiming fourth in 1997 and 1999.
In high school, Beckerman was a Junior World champion in freestyle during the summer of 1998. He posted an amazing 208-1 record during his prep career, including 187 consecutive wins and a national-record 43 straight tournament wins.
Beckerman graduated from Nebraska in 2001 with a degree in family consumer sciences.
