2005-Trevor Hill provided depth behind All-American Jacob Klein at 165 pounds. Hill finished the season 2-2, including 1-0 in dual competition. His one dual victory was a major decision.
2004-Hill was 12-9 with a 3-1 dual record while splitting his season between three weight classes. Hill opened the season with a pin of Devin Mair of <?xml:namespace prefix="st1" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags"?>PortlandState at 174 pounds 53 seconds into their dual match in NU’s first dual of the year. His three other dual matches were at 165 pounds, where he earned a 2-1 record at the Nebraska Duals. Hill’s open competition was highlighted by a third-place finish at the Great Plains Open and a sixth-place finish at the UNO Open.<?xml:namespace prefix="o" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office"?>
2003-Hill recorded a 21-10 record wrestling in open tournaments. He recorded a first-place finish at the Worthington Open and a fifth-place finish at the Glen Brand Open. For the season, Hill recorded one pin and four major decisions.
2002-Hill recorded a 13-9 overall record in his redshirt freshman season for the Huskers at 149 pounds. He recorded a fourth-place finish at the Dana College Open. On the season Hill had three major decisions.
2001-Hill redshirted, posting a 17-12 record in open tournaments. Hill’s top performance came when he won the 157-pound title at the Northwestern College Open on Jan. 17. He took fourth at the Harold Nichols Open on Nov. 11. Three of Hill’s wins came by fall and four were by major decision.
Before Nebraska-Hill won the 145-pound Nebraska state title during his junior season at LincolnHigh School and compiled a 128-23 career record. Hill also took second, third and fifth during his senior, sophomore and freshman seasons, respectively at the state meet. In 1998, Hill finished fourth at the Greco-Roman Cadet Nationals and eighth at the freestyle competition. Hill finished seventh at the 2000 FILA Junior Nationals held in Lincoln, Neb.
Personal-The son of Mike and Linda Hill, Trevor has two sisters, Piper, 26, and Kylie, 21. Trevor was born on Jan. 20, 1982. He is a chemical engineering major.
