2009-10 Outlook
Scott Kwiatkowski (pronounced KIT-kus-skee) is hoping to rejuvenate his wrestling career after spending the past seven years with the U.S. Marine Corps. He continues to serve as an E5 while training to become an officer for the USMC. He will wrestle at 165 pounds for the Huskers.
Before Nebraska
Kwiatkowski finished runner-up in Class A at the 1999 Nebraska state meet. He was a three-year letterwinner in both wrestling and football for the Kearney Bearcats. Following high school, Kwiatkowski joined the U.S. Marine Corps in 2002.
Personal
Scott is the son of David and Catherine Kwiatkowski and was born on Aug. 24, 1982 in Kearney, Neb. He has one brother, Ryan (23), and one sister, Marissa (28). Scott and his wife, Allison, have one daughter, Keely (10 months). He is a business administration major at Nebraska while also attending classes to become an office in the U.S. Marine Corps.
