2011-12 (Redshirt Freshman)
Regular Season
Michael Dauterive wrestled in the 125-pound weight class, earning a 14-18 record. He competed in nine open tournaments, with his best finish being sixth place at the Quality Hotel Open, where he went 3-2. Dauterive pinned five opponents in 2011-12, with his fastest in 1:45.

2010-11 (Redshirt)
Regular Season

Dauterive competed in several open tournaments during the season where he finished with a record of 4-16 at 125 pounds. Of those four victories, two of them came by pin over Midland (Neb.) College's Josh Bennett. Dauterive's other two victories were by major decision over Grady Nakano from Bacone and Bennett.

Before Nebraska
Michael Dauterive was a three-time All-American at the Fargo national championships, earning the honor twice in Greco and once in Freestyle. He had a strong 128-23 career record at McKinney Boyd High School in Boyd, Texas and won the high school state championship in the 103-pound weight class, the first-ever title in the McKinney Independent School District.Dauterive earned four letters in wrestling.

Personal
The son of Paul and April Dauterive, Michael was born in Omaha, Neb. on Sept. 17, 1991. Dauterive has two older sisters, Tara Piperis (30) and Lindsay Kriebel (27) along with a younger brother, Nick. Dauterive moved from Omaha when he was three years old. He has not declared a major at Nebraska.
