2005-Jeremy Engel went 0-6 in open competition at 174 pounds for the Huskers.

 

2004-Engel redshirted in his first year at the <?xml:namespace prefix="st1" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags"?>University of Nebraska.

 

Before Nebraska-Engel lettered for four years at SundaceHigh School in Sundance, Wyo.  An MVP for three years, Engel was part of two top-six state finishers at SundanceHigh School.  He also lettered two years in football.

 

Personal-The son of Don and Mellissa Engel and Janet and JackLake, Jeremy was born in Spearfish, S.D., on Dec. 17, 1980.  An international business major, Engel writes music and plays guitar in his free time.  Engel served in the Marine Corps after graduating from high school, earning the rank of sergeant.
