Regular Season
Chad Stroh wrestled in the 141 weight class, earning a 9-7 record during the 2011-12 campaign. Following a 1-3 start to the season, Stroh responded by taking fourth place at the Quality Inn Open, going 4-2 and pinning three opponents. He didn't place at the Viking-Warrior Open or the York College Open, but compiled a 4-2 record in those tournaments. On the season, Stroh earned six pins, with his fastest in 1:04.

Regular Season
Stroh ended his freshman season with a 6-5 mark in open tournaments for the Huskers while wrestling at 141 pounds. In his first tournament, Stroh took second place at the Viking-Warrior Open with back-to-back wins over Oklahoma's Scott Chene and Grand View's (Iowa) Gustavo Martinez. Stroh also found the award stand at the Brand Open, finishing in third place. Stroh finished the year with three pins.
Before Nebraska
Chad Stroh was one of the most successful wrestlers in recent Colorado state history as he claimed three straight Class 2A state championships at Holyoke High School. A four-time state qualifier, Stroh ended his career with a 31-1 senior season and pinned all four opponents at the state tournament. A three-time all-state selection, Stroh was 42-1 as a junior and 36-1 as a sophomore in his first two state title campaigns. He was runner-up as a freshman.
On the national level, Stroh claimed All-America honors by finishing sixth at the 2009 NHSCA Junior Nationals.
Personal
Chad is the son of Duane and Melissa Stroh and was born on Sept. 26, 1991 in Holyoke, Colo. He is majoring in business administration.
