Career Notes
2004-Espinoza posted a 9-8 record, including 0-1 in duals, while serving as a reserve at 197 pounds behind B.J. Padden during the 2003-04 season. Espinoza has one technical fall and four major decisions.
Before Nebraska-A three-time state champion for Wooster High School, Espinoza compiled a career record of 189-21. He was a four-year letterwinner, while earning All-America honors. He chose NU over Oklahoma State, Missouri and Arizona State.
Personal-The son of Joe Espinoza and Teresa Gardner, Chad was born on May 19, 1981. Chad has two brothers, Brett and Jared, and one sister, Marty. He has not declared a major.
