Career Notes
2008-Landrum went 9-10 at 157 pounds during his redshirt season at Nebraska. He went 2-2 at the Kay Young Open on Nov. 3, Harold Nichols Open on Nov. 10, Kaufman-Brand Open on Nov. 17 and Dana Open on Jan. 5, before ending his season with a 1-2 showing at the Brand Open on Jan. 19. He had one pin, two technical falls and two major decisions.
Before Nebraska-Landrum joins the Huskers after a standout career for Wayzata High School in Wayzata, Minn., wrestling for Coach Ross Johnson. Landrum finished his high school career with a 44-6 record at 160 pounds after earning a third-place finish at the state tournament his senior year. Landrum qualified for the Minnesota state tournament in each of his last two seasons of high school wrestling.
Personal-The son of Gregg and Judi Landrum, Brett was born on July 5, 1988. He has one sister, Erin (22). Brett is a criminal justice major at Nebraska.
