Ben Johnson Season 2004-05

2005-Johnson was 7-8 in open competition in the 184-pound weight class.  Johnson placed sixth at the UNK Runza Loper Open on Dec. 11 with a 3-3 performance.  On Jan. 15 at the Brand Open in <?xml:namespace prefix="st1" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags"?>Omaha, Neb., Johnson finished 2-1.

 

Before Nebraska-Johnson was a state champion and All-American for Coach Bob Parker at PelhamHigh School  Along with his wrestling honors, Johnson earned letters in football, track and soccer during his athletic career at PelhamHigh School.

 

Personal-Born in Mobile, Ala., on June 14, 1985, Ben is the son of Tom and Carrie Johnson.  He has a sister, Emily, and a brother, Andy.  Ben is majoring in marketing.
