2002
-Kastl notched a 13-11 record during the 2001-02 season for Nebraska. He was also 1-1 in dual competition. He had one pin and one technical fall.

2001-Kastl went 11-8 during his sophomore campaign. He wrestled in one dual for the Huskers in place of starter Dusty Spaulding. Kastl's top performance of the season came at the Dana Invite on Jan. 30, where he finished third at 141 pounds.

2000-Kastl earned his first varsity letter in 2000 as a spot starter at 141 pounds for the injured Justin Flores. Kastl posted a 6-10 mark and had the second-quickest pin on the team during the season with a fall 35 seconds into his match with Chris Pirch of Cornell at the Cornell Classic.

1999-Kastl put together a 2-4 record wrestling in open tournaments during his redshirt season.

Before Nebraska-Compiling a 125-7 career record at East Butler High School, Kastl won one state title and earned two runner-up finishes for Coach Gary McGrath.

Personal-The son of Dave and Kathy Kastl, Adam has four brothers, Jarod, Tad, Aaron and Zach. Adam was born Nov. 16, 1979. He is a pre-elementary education major.
