  • Wrestled at Owatonna High School in Owatonna, Minnesota, for Coach Adam Woitalla
  • Was his school’s first three-time state champion and racked up a combined 155-6 record in high school
  • Capped his prep career with an undefeated 48-0 season and the MSHSL Class AAA title at 160 pounds as a senior in 2018
  • Won the Class AAA title at 120 pounds after going 29-3 as a sophomore in 2016
  • Won his first state title as a freshman in 2015, as he went 42-2 and won the Class AAA title at 106 pounds
  • Finished second at state as a junior in 2017 as he went 36-1 at 145 pounds
  • Was the second-ranked 160-pounder and the No. 26 pound-for-pound wrestler in the Class of 2018 according to InterMat
  • Was FloWrestling’s seventh-ranked wrestler at 160 pounds in the Class of 2018.
  • Finished third at 69 kg at the 2017 UWW Cadet Greco-Roman Nationals, and third at 160 pounds at the 2017 USMC/USAW Junior Freestyle Nationals in Fargo, N.D.
