Before Nebraska 

  • Wrestled three seasons, including redshirt year, at Wyoming, compiling a 26-15 record in his freshman and sophomore seasons. 
  • Went 4-0 and won the 197-pound title in the Elite bracket at the 2019 Cowboy Open. 
  • During the 2018-19 season, Davidson (197) went 22-15 overall competing as a redshirt freshman.
  • Compiled a 10-8 mark in dual competition, including wins over then-#16 Malik McDonald of North Carolina State (an 8-6 decision) and then-#20 Cordell Eaton of North Dakota State (a 6-3 decision).
  • Went 4-1 at the 2018 Reno Tournament of Champions, taking home a second-place finish in the 197-pound bracket.
  • Also competed at the 2018 Journeymen Classic, finishing in fourth place. 
  • Earned a first-place finish at the 2018 Cowboy Open. 
  • Went 13-1 in 2017-18 competing as a redshirt, registering five pins while competing primarily in open tournaments.
  • Won 197-pound bracket titles at the UNK Open (competing in the Elite division) and the 2017 Cowboy Open (competing in the Amateur bracket). 
  • Competed for Goddard High School (Kansas) as a prep.
  • Following a third-place finish at 182 pounds as a sophomore, Davidson was the 182-pound Class 5A state champion and led his team to a state title as a junior
  • Moved up a weight class to 195 pounds his senior year and repeated as a state champion as Goddard took home another Kansas Class 5A team title.
  • USAW Jr. National Folkstyle All-American and 182-pound Midwest National champion during his prep years
