2012-13: Senior
All-American Patricia Veresova ended her distinguished Nebraska career by teaming with fellow All-American Mary Weatherholt to advance to the quarterfinals of the 2013 NCAA Doubles Championship. With Veresova playing at No. 1 doubles and No. 2 singles, the Huskers produced the best season in school history. Nebraska advanced to their first NCAA Sweet 16 while capturing a Big Ten Conference team title.

A first-team All-Big Ten selection in 2013, Veresova was a staple in Nebraska’s lineup during her years as a Husker. She closed her career with a 75-28 singles record and a 67-23 doubles mark, giving her 142 combined victories in just three seasons. Her .728 career singles winning percentage ranked No. 3 in Nebraska history.

As a senior, the Piestany, Slovakia, native racked up a 23-10 singles record while going 21-5 during the spring. In doubles action, Veresova notched a 25-5 mark that included a perfect 9-0 Big Ten record. Veresova and Weatherholt earned an automatic bid to the NCAA Doubles Championship as the 32-team tournament's No. 3 seed. The Husker duo won two matches before falling to No. 25 Robin Anderson and Skylar Morton from UCLA. It marked the farthest any Nebraska tandem had ever advanced at the NCAA Championships. Veresova and Weatherholt finished the season at No. 7 in the ITA rankings, the highest final doubles ranking in school history.

Playing at No. 2 singles, Veresova lost only twice in Big Ten play to then-No. 96 Belinda Niu of Northwestern and No. 49 Ronit Yurovsky of Michigan. Veresova faced seven ranked opponents on the season and produced a 3-4 record.

Veresova cranked out an impressive doubles season as well. She went 24-3 during the spring, including a 9-0 Big Ten mark with Weatherholt in the No. 1 spot. The duo rolled past six ranked foes with the highest being No. 2 Emina Bektas and Brooke Bolender from Michigan. The pair earned a school-record No. 3 national ranking in doubles heading into the Big Ten Tournament.

A stellar student, Veresova was a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and earned academic All-Big Ten honors for the second consecutive season. She also claimed spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in both the fall and spring semesters of 2012-13. She helped the Huskers capture their second straight Herman Award, which is presented annually to the Nebraska team with the highest cumulative GPA during the previous year.

2011-12: Junior
Veresova established herself as a collegiate star for the Huskers in her second season at Nebraska. She produced 52 combined singles and doubles victories as a junior in 2011-12, while climbing to No. 99 in the final ITA singles rankings.

Playing primarily out of the No. 2 spot in the Husker lineup, Veresova produced a 28-9 overall singles record, including a 24-6 mark in the spring. Veresova went 17-6 at No. 2, while adding a 3-0 record at NU's No. 1 spot and a 2-0 mark at No. 3. She was a first-team All-Big Ten selection after posting a 7-4 mark in Big Ten competition.

In doubles action, Veresova teamed with Weatherholt to produce a 24-6 overall mark and a 22-4 record in the spring. Veresova and Weatherholt went 8-3 against Big Ten opponents with all 11 matches at the No. 2 spot. Veresova went 19-3 at No. 2 doubles and 3-0 playing out of the No. 1 spot. Overall, Veresova notched 24 doubles victories, pairing with Janine Weinreich for a win against Eastern Michigan at the No. 2 spot.

An outstanding performer in the classroom, Veresova was one of seven Huskers to capture academic All-Big Ten honors while helping the team to the 2012 Herman Award.

2010-11: Sophomore
Veresova enjoyed a breakout season for Nebraska and quickly became one of NU's top contributors. She was quickly plugged into the No. 2 spot in the lineup, where she compiled a 17-3 record that included an eight-match winning streak early in the season. Her overall singles mark of 21-6 led the team on the year.

At the end of the season, she was named to the All-Big 12 Singles Team for her accomplishments on the court.Veresova also excelled in doubles for NU, partnering for much of the season with fellow sophomore Janine Weinreich. The tandem went 10-5 during the spring season and played primarily at the No. 2 doubles position. Veresova also saw action at the No. 3 spot, compiling a 4-3 record.

Veresova also had a strong year in the classroom, earning first-team academic All-Big 12 accolades from the conference. She was named to the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll in both the fall and spring semesters and produced a perfect 4.0 GPA in the spring. Following the spring semester, she was also awarded ITA Scholar-Athlete accolades. She contributed to the tennis program capturing the Herman Award, presented annually to the NU women's team with the highest grade-point average during the previous academic year.

2009-10: Freshman
Veresova sat out her freshman season at Nebraska due to NCAA eligibility rules. She was named to the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll in the fall and spring semesters.

Before Nebraska
Patricia Veresova was the winner of the Slovakian women's championships in both singles and doubles in 2009. She has been ranked as high as No. 529 in the world by the WTA.

Personal
Patricia was born in Piestany, Slovakia, on May 31, 1989. She is the daughter of Pavol Veres and Lydia Veresov, and has one brother, Pavol. Patricia is a business administration major at Nebraska. She claimed Big Ten Distinguished Scholar awards and academic All-Big Ten accolades in both 2012 and 2013, after earning academic All-Big 12 honors in 2011. She earned a spot on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the fall and spring semesters of 2012-13. She was also a four-time member of the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll.
