1997-98: Senior
Adriana Dulic made contributions to the Husker lineup during her senior season in both singles and doubles play. She was the main option at No. 6 singles, competing in 13 matches at the position and winning eight. On the doubles court, Dulic played in three matches with three different partners and notched a 2-1 record, all at No. 3 doubles. Dulic picked up a victory with both Ndali Ijomah and Gina Pelazini, but lost her only match paired with Kelli Clark. A tremendous scholar, Dulic was awarded first-team academic All-Big 12 honors for the second time as a Husker.
1996-97: Junior
Dulic made a successful transition to Division I collegiate tennis, posting a 16-8 record during the 1996-97 season. After losing her only match in the fall, Dulic had a mark of 16-7 in the spring, primarily playing No. 6 singles. The highlight of Dulic's spring season was a nine-match winning streak in which she won six consecutive straight set victories. Dulic also posted a four-match winning streak during the season. Dulic went 9-10 in No. 3 doubles action, primarily teaming up with sophomore Gina Pelazini. A 4.0 student, Dulic spent the summer at Oxford in England as part of a study abroad program with the university. She also captured first-team academic All-Big 12 honors during the 1996-97 season.
Before Nebraska
She competed at Tyler (Texas) Community College for two seasons under Head Coach John Peterson. Dulic helped Tyler CC to the 1995 NJCAA national title before finishing second in 1996. A two-time All-American in junior college, Dulic was ranked in the top 20 nationally in each of her two seasons, including a No. 12 singles ranking and a No. 3 doubles ranking in 1996. Dulic graduated with high honors at Tyler CC. Before coming to the United States, she advanced to the round of 16 at the Yugoslavia national championships in 1994.
Personal
An accounting major, Dulic was born in Split, Yugoslavia. She is the daughter of Veronika and Marko Dulic and has one older sister, Tatjana.
