2022 (Sophomore)
Katie Stoneburner did not play for the Huskers in the 2022 season.

2021 (Redshirt Freshman)
Stoneburner played in seven games for a total of 65 minutes in 2021. She managed one shot on goal. Stoneburner played a season-high 17 minutes in the Big Ten season opener against Purdue on Sept. 19. After seeing action in six non-conference games, she appeared in one Big Ten match.  

2020 (Redshirt)
Stoneburner did not play for the Huskers in the 2020-21 season.

High School
Stoneburner played high school soccer at Millard West in Omaha, Neb., under Coach Jackie Tevis-Butler. A team captain and three-year starter, Stoneburner has scored 35 career goals and tallied 11 career assists through her junior season. In 2019, she earned first-team All-Nebraska, all-state and All-Metro accolades, while also making the Allstate All-America Team. The Wildcats won the Class A state title and earned a top 10 national ranking by the United Soccer Coaches. As a sophomore in 2018, Stoneburner captured first-team all-state pundits from the Lincoln Journal Star and second-team honors from the Omaha World-Herald, as Millard West advanced to the semifinals of the state tournament. In 2017, she collected honorable-mention all-state recognition after making the semifinals of the state tournament. The Wildcats won three consecutive district titles from 2017 to 2019. An honor roll student, Stoneburner lettered in basketball as a freshman.
 
Other Information
Stoneburner played club soccer for Elite Girls Academy ECNL ’01 under Coach Marcus Kelcher. The team won the ECNL Midwest Conference title and was one of 16 teams to qualify for the Champions League Playoffs. She also helped the squad win the Nebraska State Cup. She scored 12 goals and recorded eight assists while playing for Elite Girls Academy. In 2020, Stoneburner earned High School Scholar All-America honors from the United Soccer Coaches and made the All-Central Region and All-Nebraska Teams. She also achieved academic all-state status in 2020.
 
Personal Information
Katie is the daughter of David and Kim Stoneburner, and was born on Dec. 5, 2001. Katie has one sister, Ally, and one brother, Will. Katie has not declared a major at Nebraska but she is a five-time Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll selection.
