2022-23 (Redshirt Senior)
Kendyl Hofmeister ended her Husker career with her strongest season capturing honorable-mention NTCA All-American accolades for the second time in her career. She increased her average from 207.7 to 208.6 in 118.5 regular season games in 2022-23. Hofmeister placed in the top 15 three times, including a pair of top-10 finishes. She enjoyed a season high game of 279 at the Bearcat Roto Grip Open with a total pinfall of 1,265 to finish sixth and claim second-team all-tournament honors. Hofmeister held the third highest avg/frame (20.45) and an 86.8 overall fill percentage. Hofmeister shined as one of the nation's leading spare shootings, producing the nation's second highest spare fill percentage of 73.4.

2021-22 (Junior)
Hofmeister put together her best season as a Husker and earned honorable-mention All-America honors by the NTCA for her performance. She averaged a 207.7 in 43 games, raising her season average by more than 12 pins per game from the 2020-21 season. Hofmeister placed in the top 10 on four occasions and totaled eight top-25 efforts in nine appearances. She earned a spot on the all-tournament team at the Hammer Bearcat Open and posted eighth- place showing at both the Columbia 300 Saints and the Mid-Winter Invite, where he averaged a 222.6 in five games. In Baker format, she averaged 20.40 pins per frame and had strikes on nearly 51 percent of her shots, while also posting a team-best 72.0 percent on spare conversions.

2020-21 (Sophomore)
Hofmeister returned to Nebraska's lineup to contribute in every tournament in 2020-21 while helping the Huskers to the NCAA Championship. She posted a season average of 195.00, which ranks fifth on the team, and a tournament high of 205.5 at the Mid-Winter Classic, finishing in the top-25. Hofmeister was named Academic All-Big Ten for the second consecutive year and also earned a spot on the 2021 Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.  

2019-20 (Redshirt Freshman)
Hofmeister broke into the Husker lineup throughout the season, appearing in seven of the Huskers’ nine regular-season tournaments. She averaged a 186.9 in baker format appearances, while raising her average to a 188.5 in traditional format. She bowled in the individual lineup on two occasions, the final two games of the Track Kat Klash, where she averaged a season-best 194.50, and four games of the 300 Saints Invite. In that tournament, she rolled a season-high 213, one of two games over 200 on the season. She earned spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete honor roll in both semesters en route to capturing Academic All-Big Ten honors. 

2018-19 (Redshirt)
Hofmeister redshirted as a freshman with the Huskers in 2018-19, adding depth to the Husker roster. 

Before Nebraska
Hofmeister bowled for Coach Jim Tesner, placing third at the boys’ state tournament and seventh and 17th at the girls’ states singles. She earned a spot on the Michigan All-Academic Team.  She won two titles from the Michigan Junior Masters Association. Hofmeister graduated summa cum laude from Garber High School in Essexville, Mich., in 2018. She earned high academic honors all four years and was a member of the Michigan All-Academic Team.

Personal
The daughter of Dale and Lisa Hofmeister, Kendyl was born on May 2, 2000. Kendyl has one brother, Braedyn. Kendyl is majoring in secondary education (chemistry) at Nebraska. She is a four-time Academic All-Big Ten selection and a six-time member of the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll. She is also a five-time member of the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team for her work in the community.
