2022-23 (Redshirt Freshman)
Anna Callan competed in eight of the nine regular-season tournaments as well as the NCAA Pittsburgh Regional and Championships. Callan competed in 82.6 regular-season games with a 20.04 Avg/Frame. Callan had an 84.2 percent overall fill percentage this season with a season high finish of seventh and a 268 game at the Stormin’ Blue and White Vegas Classic. Callan completed the season with a total of 95.4 games and a 202.2 average in both baker and traditional format.

2021-22 (Freshman)
Callan redshirted in her first season at Nebraska, as she made the transition to college bowling. She will have four years of eligibility remaining beginning with the 2022-23 season.

Before Nebraska 
Callan was a very accomplished bowler in the state of Wisconsin, competing for Coach Chaz Callan at Holmen High School.  A four-time single state qualifier and a two-time team state qualifier. In 2021, she was crowned a champion of the Junior Bowler Scholars Tour. In 2020, she claimed another championship title at the Midwest Youth Championships. She was also crowned champion of the Minnesota Junior Bowling Tour in 2018. Throughout her highs chool career, she earned First Team All-Star all four years and Conference Champion three times. In the classroom, she was a member of Holmen’s honor roll. 

Personal
The daughter of Jill and Chaz Callan, Anna is majoring in nutrition and health sciences and earned spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the fall and spring semesters of 2021-22. She was a member of the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team in 2022 and 2023.
