Sophomore (1990-91)
Tami Ransom played in nine games as a sophomore during the 1990-91 season, averaging 1.1 points per game.  In addition, Ransom had a steal and a blocked shot.  She averaged 50 percent from the field, making four of 8 shots, and was 40 percent from the free throw line. 

Freshman (1989-90)
As a walk-on, Ransom saw limited court time as a freshman.  She played in 11 games, and scored her only points in the win over Georgia State.

High School
Ransom excelled at six-on-six basketball at South Clay (Iowa) High School in Gillette Grove, Iowa.  She was a two-time All-Cornbelt Conference selection in volleyball, one time in basketball, and was a participant in the Iowa State High School Track and Field Championships in both the 100- and 400- meter hurdles.

Ransom is the daughter of Jack and Connie Sylvester and was born Nov. 23, 1970.
