Amiah Hargrove Season 2025-26

Hargrove had 12 points against No. 4 UCLA (Jan. 11). She had 11 points and five boards in an 85-44 win over Illinois State (Dec. 14). She also had 11 points, nine boards and three assists in a win over Omaha (Dec. 9).

She earned a spot on the Emerald Coast Classic Beach Bracket All-Tournament Team after putting up 17 points, eight rebounds and two steals in 26 minutes off the bench to help the Huskers to a championship game win over Virginia (Nov. 25).

It followed an 11-point, six-rebound game in a win over Purdue Fort Wayne (Nov. 24), as Hargrove averaged 14.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 1.5 steals in two tournament games.

She had 13 points and six rebounds in just 13 minutes in NU's 92-53 win over Bradley (Dec. 3).

Hargrove produced her second career double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds to go along with a career-high three steals in an 80-46 win over eventual NCAA Tournament-qualifier Samford (Nov. 8). Hargrove led Nebraska with a season-high 17 points on perfect shooting while adding a team-high seven rebounds off the bench in a win over Summit League regular-season champion North Dakota State (Nov. 16).

In a key Big Ten win over Indiana (Jan. 8), Hargrove had nine points and six rebounds. She added six points and five boards in an 84-50 win over Creighton (Nov. 12) and six points and six rebounds in a 103-58 win over ORU (Nov. 19).

Freshman (2024-25)
Hargrove produced the best game of her young career with her first double-double in a road win at Iowa (Jan. 16). She scored 10 points on 3-of-4 shooting, including a pair of threes, while adding career highs of 11 rebounds and two blocks against the Hawkeyes. She also played a season-high 28 minutes in the overtime victory to help the Huskers to their first win in Iowa City since 2018.

She nearly notched another double-double with 10 points and nine rebounds in just 17 minutes off the bench in Nebraska's NCAA Tournament first-round battle with Louisville in Fort Worth, Texas (March 21). Hargrove hit 3-of-5 shots, including a three-pointer, while going 3-for-4 at the free throw line against the Cardinals. She also pulled down four offensive boards, while adding an assist and a steal.

For the season, she averaged 4.7 points and 3.7 rebounds per game while hitting 50 percent (17-34) of her three-pointers and 81.6 percent (31-38) of her free throws. She played in all 33 games with a pair of starts. In 18 conference games, Hargrove's numbers were nearly identical, averaging 4.6 points and 3.8 rebounds while shooting 51.8 percent from the field including 52.9 percent (9-17) from three-point range in 14 minutes per game.

She opened the Big Ten Tournament by tying her career high with 13 points while adding four rebounds in a first-round win over Rutgers (March 5).

Hargrove produced a then-career-high 13 points on 5-of-6 shooting in a win over Tarleton State (Dec. 11). It followed 10 points and a season-high eight rebounds in a Big Ten-opening win over Minnesota (Dec. 8). She added a team-high 12 points on 4-of-6 shooting at No. 1 UCLA (Dec. 29), before getting 11 points at Indiana (Feb. 2).

Hargrove scored in double figures seven times, including 10 points and seven boards in a win over Kansas City (Nov. 26). She made her first start in a win over Chattanooga (Dec. 15), when she pulled down seven rebounds.

She added a strong seven-point, six-rebound effort in a win over No. 20 Michigan State (Jan. 8). Hargrove's effort included five big rebounds in the game's final five minutes to help Nebraska close out the victory.

Hargrove had eight points, three rebounds and two assists in a win over South Dakota (Nov. 16). She went 3-for-3 from the field, including a pair of three-pointers against the Coyotes.

High School
Hargrove averaged 28.7 points, 10.7 rebounds, 2.9 steals and 1.9 assists as a senior at Illinois Class 1A Christopher High School. The No. 2 recruit in the state of Illinois, Hargrove was a three-time Southern Illinois Player of the Year and a four-time Class 1A all-state selection. She was also named to the MaxPreps Small Town All-America Team as a senior at Christopher (pop. 2,644), located approximately 100 miles southeast of St. Louis. She finished with 2,774 points and 1,096 career rebounds after averaging 25.8 points and 10.2 rebounds during her prep career. She also totaled more than 200 career steals while hitting more than 83 percent of her free throws.

As a junior in 2022-23, Hargrove averaged 24.7 points, 9.7 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 2.2 steals and 1.3 blocks while hitting 62.8 percent of her shots from the field to help Christopher High School to a Class 1A runner-up finish. The four-time Illinois Class 1A all-state selection was the 2023 Associated Press Illinois Class 1A Player of the Year and a three-time Southern Illinois Girls Basketball Player of the Year. She was also a three-time conference MVP and four-time all-conference selection.

A talented all-around athlete, Hargrove erupted for a career-high 55 points against Salem and 51 points against Cobden. She led Christopher High School to a state runner-up finish after capturing sectional and super-sectional titles in 2023. She also fueled the Bearcats to a trio of conference championships and two regional crowns.

Hargrove also competed in volleyball, softball and track and field, while earning third-team Academic All-America honors. She was a member of the High Honor Roll and National Honor Society at Christopher.

She played AAU basketball for Bradley Beal Elite and was ranked as the No. 159 recruit in the nation by Blue Star Basketball.

Personal
The daughter of Anthony and Ami Hargrove, Amiah was born in St. Louis, Mo. She has a younger sister, Aralynn, and an older brother, Tre Carroll, who was a first-team All-BIG EAST basketball player at Xavier for Coach Richard Pitino in 2025-26. He was a redshirt freshman on Florida Atlantic's 2023 NCAA Final Four team under Coach Dusty May and played at FAU through 2024-25. He played two NBA Summer League games for the Washington Wizards in 2026.

Amiah's father was an NFL defensive end from 2004 to 2013. He was drafted out of Georgia Tech by the St. Louis Rams and was a member of seven NFL teams, including the Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints.

A sociology major, Hargrove earned Academic All-Big Ten honors in 2026. She is a four-time Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll selection. She is also a two-time member of the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team. She is serving as a representative on the Nebraska Student-Athlete Advisory Committee in 2026-27.

Hargrove selected Nebraska over Creighton, Missouri, Illinois and Marquette.
