Logan Seiser served on the Nebraska women's basketball staff as video and creative content coordinator from 2020 to 2023.
He has helped the Huskers to back-to-back postseason tournament appearances, including a trip to the 2022 NCAA Tournament. The 2021-22 Huskers finished with a 24-9 overall record that included a trip to the Big Ten Tournament semifinals. Nebraska finished No. 23 in the final NET rankings after posting four victories over 2022 NCAA Sweet Sixteen teams, including three wins over teams that advanced to the NCAA Elite Eight.
Nebraska put one of the most complete teams in school history on the floor in 2021-22, ranking 10th nationally in scoring offense (77.8 ppg), 13th in assists (17.4 apg), 18th in scoring margin (+13.5 ppg), while leading the Big Ten, setting a school record and ranking 21st nationally in three-pointers made per game (8.5). NU also led the Big Ten and ranked 23rd in the nation in rebounding (41.8 rpg), while leading a Big Ten that featured four of the nation's highest scoring teams in field goal percentage defense (.385).
The Huskers ranked 14th nationally in total home attendance, and they sent the crowds at Pinnacle Bank Arena home happy by tying the school record with 16 home victories on the season.
In 2020-21, Seiser helped the Huskers to the round of 16 in the Postseason WNIT. Nebraska finished an abbreviated season with 13 victories, including five over teams ranked in the top 25 nationally during the year.
Seiser came to Nebraska after spending two seasons as an assistant women's basketball coach at the University of Jamestown in North Dakota. Seiser was not only responsible for assisting Jamestown's varsity, he also served as the head coach of the junior varsity team. Seiser also served as the head of all team-based social media platforms.
While on staff for Head Coach Thad Sankey at Jamestown, Seiser worked alongside former Husker guard Janay Morton as an assistant coach for the 2019-20 season. Seiser also spent time as an assistant in the North Dakota Attack girls' basketball program.
Prior to his two-year stint at Jamestown, Seiser spent four months as the interim video coordinator for the Iowa State women's basketball program while he completed his undergraduate degree. He spent four seasons as a women's basketball manager for the Cyclones from 2014-15 through 2017-18.
Seiser earned his bachelor's degree in marketing and management from Iowa State in 2018, before earning his master's degree in business leadership from Jamestown in 2020.
Originally from Blairsburg, Iowa, the 6-6 Seiser was a Class 1A All-State selection at Northeast Hamilton High School. He averaged 24 points and 12.3 rebounds per game with 21 double-doubles as a senior on the court. He was also an Academic All-State choice.
Seiser and his wife, Marina, were married in May of 2022.
