Ervin Williams has been employed in the Nebraska Athletic Department since 1997. The Elm City, N.C., native is currently an event management specialist, after serving as director of operations for the women's basketball program from 1997 to 2002.
In addition to his role in the athletic department, Williams has spent the past nine years as the house director for Beta Theta Pi Fraternity on the University of Nebraska campus. He was named the Beta Theta Pi National House Director of the Year in July of 2009.
Williams is also active in the community as a mentor for young men and boys by being involved with the Heartland Big Brothers and Big Sisters program. He has served on the board of directors for Heartland Big Brothers and Big Sisters since January of 2012.
Williams earned a degree in recreation administration from Lenoir-Rhyne College in 1987. He was employed at Louisburg College as the intramural director and women's basketball administrative assistant before joining the NU women's basketball staff in 1997.
