Freshman (1997-98)
The tallest player on Nebraska's 1997-98 roster, appeared in 10 games off the bench while helping the Huskers to one of the best seasons in school history during her only year at Nebraska. Bryan scored seven points, grabbed six rebounds and dished out one assist on the season. She hit 5-of-8 free throw attempts on the year, while connecting on 1-of-6 field goal attempts. She played a total of 36 minutes on the season.

Nebraska tied a school record with 23 victories and finished with an 11-5 Big 12 Conference mark in 1997-98. The Huskers won the second NCAA Tournament game in school history with a win over New Mexico in Norfolk, Va., before falling to Old Dominion in the second round.

High School
Bryan earned four varsity letters in basketball for Head Coach Linda Long at Cave Spring High School in Roanoke, Va. Bryan averaged eight points and seven rebounds per game for a team that sent three players to major college programs. The Knights advanced to the state tournament her sophomore season.

Personal
Bryan has two sisters, Jennie and Christie, and two brothers, Mike and Patrick. The daughter of Sharon Bryan and Robert Bryan, Lisa Marie Bryan was born April 10, 1979, in Omaha. Her hobbies include painting and hiking. She was a general studies major at Nebraska.
