Senior (1997-98)
J.J. Jurgens saw action in 17 of Nebraska's 33 games in her final season with the Huskers.? As a senior, Jurgens provided the Huskers with inspirational leadership that helped the team overcome some challenging times.? Jurgens grabbed 19 rebounds and scored eight points on the season.? She also hit 75 percent of her free throws.

She scored one point, pulled down an offensive rebuond and handed out an assist in the win over Southern Utah.? Jurgens had two rebounds against Bucknell to go with an assist.? She had a rebound and an assist in the victory over Oklahoma, despite playing only three minutes.

Sophomore (1995-96)
Jurgens played in seven games, scoring two points.? The points came from the free throw line against Oklahoma.? She handed out an assist?against Gonzaga and one vs. Nicholls State, both Husker wins.? Jurgens played just four minutes against Nicholls State, but she made the most of it, with one assist, one blocked shot and one steal.

Freshman (1994-95)
As?a walk-on, Jurgens played in 10 games her freshman year, scoring two points and averaging 1.6 mintues per contest.

High School
Jurgens was a second-team all-state selection at Platteview High School, outside of Omaha, as a senior.? She earned Metro Class B Player-of-the-Year honors that season and was named to the Eastern Midlands All-Conference team for the third straight year.?

She set the school mark for three-pointers made in a career with 73.? At the end of?her high school career, she held the?Nebraska?high school record for three-pointers?made in a season with 46 in 1994.? She hit an amazing 41.2 percent of her?three-point attempts during her career, another Nebraska?Class B state record.
