Senior (1994-95)
Tanya Upthegrove completed an injury-plagued career with one season of eligibility remaining at Nebraska after earning her degree following the 1994-95 season.

Junior (1993-94)
Upthegrove appeared in 20 games with nine starts in her second season on the court for the Huskers. She averaged 3.4 points and 1.4 rebounds per game, while shooting 44.8 percent from the field and 53.6 percent at the free throw line. She added 14 assists and eight steals on the season.

Upthegrove had one of the best games of her career with a career-high 11 points, four steals and three assists in the Huskers' win over InterAmerican on Dec. 21. She added nine points and two assists against Holy Cross on Jan. 2. She tied her career high with four steals against Idaho on Dec. 4. Upthegrove was a member of the Big Eight Academic Honor Roll.

Sophomore (1992-93)
After sitting out her freshman season with an injury, Upthegrove finally got her first chance to perform at Nebraska on Feb. 12, 1993. She finished her sophomore season playing in eight games, while scoring 13 points, grabbing five rebounds and adding two assists and two steals. She scored season highs with four points against Iowa State and Oklahoma State.

Freshman (1991-92)
Upthegrove missed her entire freshman season at Nebraska with a stress fracture.

High School
An all-state performer in both basketball and track at Princeton High School in Cincinnati, Ohio, Upthegrove added all-conference awards in basketball, track and soccer. On the basketball court, she averaged 16 points, four rebounds and four assists per game. She was also an outstanding student, earning a spot on the National Honor Society, while also making the all-academic soccer, track and basketball teams. She was also chosen as the Army Reserve's Outstanding Student-Athlete.

The daughter of David and Carol Upthegrove, Tanya was born Feb. 7, 1973, in Lima, Ohio. She has one brother, Aaron. Tanya majored in sociology at Nebraska and represented all Nebraska student-athletes on the VIP Outreach Council.
