Senior (1990-91)
A tremendous team leader, Kelly Hubert was a regular starter for Nebraska in her final season with the Huskers. Hubert averaged 6.9 points and rebounds per contest while recording 49 steals. She shot 53.5 percent from the field and 54.9 percent from the free throw line.
In a 74-80 overtime loss to Wisconsin, Hubert led the Huskers with a career-high 23 rebounds and 14 points. Against Kansas, Hubert scored a career-high 18 points coupled with nine rebounds.
Junior (1989-90)
Hubert worked her way into the lineup her junior year, starting 12 games. She averaged 7.8 points and 6.8 rebounds per contest.
Hubert missed nine games in the middle of the season with torn ligaments in her foot, but returned late in the season to lead the team with a 58.3 percent field goal percentage.
Sophomore (1988-89)
Hubert started eight games last season and averged 4.4 points and 4.6 rebounds. She tied teammate Ann Halsne for the second-highest shot block total on the team (11). She shot 40.6 from the field and 55.2 percent from the free throw line.
She scored a season-best twice with 11 points against U.S. International and Kansas State. She had a season-best 12 rebounds against Creighton. She finished fourth on the team with 31 steals.
Freshman (1987-88)
Hubert played in 22 games in her first season with Nebraska. She averaged 1.9 points and grabbed 2.3 rebounds per game. She scored a season-best eight points twice, recorded back-to-back against St. Louis and Missouri- Kansas City. She also had a season-high eight rebounds against UMKC.
High School
At Peoria High School, Hubert earned all-state recognition and averaged 19 points and nine rebounds per game.
Personal
Hubert is the daughter of Shirley Hubert and was born May 13, 1968, in Peoria. Hubert received her degree from Nebraska in 1992.
