Freshman (1988-89)
Lisa Wacker was a member of the 1988-89 Nebraska squad but never appeared in a game for the Huskers and did not earn a basketball letter at NU.
High School
A starter on three consecutive state championship teams at Battle Creek High School, Wacker was also a participant on a fourth state tournament team. She was a two-time all-state performer and a three-time all-area and all-conference selection at Battle Creek.
A 5-8 guard on the basketball court, Wacker was also a two-time all-conference volleyball selection and a four-time state track qualifier. She was also an outstanding student, earning a Regent's scholarship to the University of Nebraska. She was the salutatorian at Battle Creek High School in 1988 and the student of the year as a senior.

The daughter of Leon and Mary Wacker, Lisa was born on Oct. 4, 1969, in Omaha, Neb.
