Leatha Dudeck saw action in all 28 of Nebraska's games in the 1988-89 season, starting two games. Only averaging 11.2 mintutes per game, Dudeck still managed to average 1.9 points and 1.9 rebounds per game. High School
Dudeck was named to USA Today's high school honorable mention All-America team and she earned all-state honors playing at Butler High School in Pennsylvania. Dudeck earned Pittsburgh Press Top Five honors and was named a Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Fabulous Five.
Dudeck averaged 20.3 points and 16.1 rebounds per game and was named the school's Female Athlete-of-the-Year, as well as basketball MVP. In her career, Dudeck scored 1, 630 points.
