In her only season of action at Nebraska, Robelyn Garcia averaged 1.7 points and 0.8 rebounds while playing in six games in 1985-86. She did not earn a letter.

The junior college transfer from Dodge City (Kan.) Community College shot 27.8 percent from the field while dishing out three assists in her six appearances.

At Dodge City, Garcia earned All-America honors and was ranked as one of the top junior college swing guards in the country when she averaged 28 points and five rebounds per game as a sophomore in 1984-85. She scored more than 1,200 points in her two seasons of junior college, shooting 49.3 percent from the field and 70.5 percent at the free throw line. She ranked as the nation's fourth-leading scorer as a sophomore.

A native of Elkhart, Kan., Garcia was a broadcasting major at Nebraska.
