Sophomore (1989-90)
After a successful freshman year, Sarah Muller cracked into the starting lineup for the Huskers in 20 of the 27 games she played in.  Through those 27 games, Muller averaged 8.9 points per game, shooting 46.7 percent from the field.  She also pulled down 6.2 rebounds per game.

On Jan. 6, Muller scored a team-high 18 points agaisnt Northern Illinois and pulled down 11 rebounds against Northern Iowa on Dec. 28.  She blocked three shots against both Central Michigan and Kansas State.   

Freshman (1988-89)
As a freshman, Muller received a lot of quality playing time, and also earned a pair of starting nods from head coach Angela Beck.  The 6-1 forward from Fremont, Neb., finished her rookie season with averages of 3.5 points and 4.0 rebounds per game and played 12.8 minutes per contest. 

Muller scored a career-high 16 points against US International on Dec. 2, and pulled down a career-high 15 rebounds against Iowa State on Feb. 25.  She was a 50 percent shotter from the field and 80.6 percent from the free throw line.

High School
Sarah Muller completed her high school career at Fremont Bergan High School, after leading Scribner High School to the runnerup finish at the Nebraska state tournament in her junior year.  She earned all-state, all-area and all-conference honors three straight years.  Last season, at Fremont Bergan, she was named conference defensive player-of-the-year and honorable-mention All-America.  She averaged 23.4 poitns and 14.5 rebounds per game and finished in the top 10 in the state's all-time scorers with over 1,500 points.

She is the daughter of Mike and Jean Muller and was born March 4, 1970, in West Point, Neb.
