Tobin Echohawk Season 1992-93

Basketball Freshman (1992-93)
A scholarship athlete on the Nebraska softball team, Tobin Echohawk tried out for the basketball team after the start of fall practice and earned a spot on the 1992-93 Husker roster. She went on to appear in six games, contributing four points, one rebound and one assist on the season.

The 5-8 guard hit her only field goal attempt on the year and connected on 2-of-4 free throws on the season. She did not earn a basketball letter but she went on to one of the most prolific careers in Nebraska softball history.

High School
Echohawk was a three-year letterwinner in softball, basketball and track, while adding a pair of soccer letters at Centaurus High School in Louisville, Colo. As a senior, she was the Colorado Class 5A MVP in basketball and was all-conference in both soccer and softball.

The daughter of Fred and Dana Echohawk, Tobin was born June 19, 1974.
