Sophomore (1990-91)
LeeAnna Hiestand saw action in 16 games for Nebraska during the 1990-91 season.  Hiestand hit 7-of-20 from the field (35 percent) and averaged 1.3 points per game.  She also grabbed an average of 1.3 rebounds per game, collecting 21 for the season.  In addition, Hiestand produced seven assists and five steals.

In Nebraska's 95-67win over Oklahoma, Hiestand scored a season-high six points and grabbed two rebounds.  She almost matched that in NU's first game of the season against Sam Houston when she scored five points and produced four rebounds.

Freshman (1989-90)
Hiestand made a significant contribution her first year with Nebraska.  She averaged 4.3 points and 2.8 rebounds per game, earning a starting berth in 16 of her 28 games.  She had career highs of 15 points against Oral Roberts and twice registered eight rebounds.  She also had a season-best seven assists in the Huskers' win against Creighton.

High School
Hiestand was named to the all-state basketball team three times and was a high school All-America basketball selection at Shanley High School in Fargo, N.D.  She averaged 24 points and 18 rebounds per game her senior season. 

Personal
Hiestand is the daughter of Thomas and Anna Marie Hiestand.  She was born Sept. 16, 1970.
