2001-02 (Freshman)
As one of Nebraska's top recruits, Robinette started in all 29 of the games she played in, averaging 24.8 minutes per game.  She finished the 2001-02 season as the Husker's second leading scorer with 9.7 points and 6.0 rebounds per game.

Robinette hit .439 percent of her shots from the field (108-246) and .353 percent of her three-pointers (12-34).  Robinette dished out 44 assists and led the team in blocked shots with 33, and was second on the team with 41 steals.

Robinette transferred to Iowa State after the 2001-02 season.

High School
As a senior at national basketball powerhouse South Sioux City High School, Robinette capped a stellar prepcareer by leading the Cardinals to their third Nebraska Class B state title in four years and a No. 7 final national ranking by USA Today.

As a senior, Robinette averaged 19.0 points, 9.3 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 2.5 steals to finish her career for Coach Kelly Flynn with 1, 944 points, 897 rebounds, 344 steals and 309 assists.

Robinette is South Sioux City's all-time leading scorer and rebounder, while ranking fourth in career steals and fifth in career assists.

Robinette earned one of 20 spots in the Pheonix/WBCA High School All-America Game in Hartford, Conn., on April 7, 2001.  She scored four points grabbed seven rebounds and dished out two assists in 20 minutes to help the Whites to a 111-80 victory over the Reds.  She also claimed All-America honores from USA Today, Street & Smith's, Parade Magazine and nearly every other publication.

Before her junior season, Robinette was named the No. 1 high school junior in the nation by USA Today.  As a junior, she led South Sioux City to a state title and a final No. 6 national ranking from USA Today.

A two-time Miss Basketball in the state of Nebraska, Robinette was a four-time first-team All-Nebraska selection by the Omaha World-Herald.  She was also a three-time member of the Daubert-Pinnacle Bank All-Star team and was twice invited to the Nike All-American Summer Camp.

Along with four letters in Basketball, Robinette earned three letters in volleyball and three letters in track and field.  She was a memeber of the National Honor Society.  She was also a student council representitive and the senior class vice-president.

Personal
The daughter of Rick and Joan Robinette, Katie has two younger twin sisters, Amy and Ashley, and an older brother, Mike.
