Team 1995-96 Nebraska Women's Basketball

Sophomore (1995-96)
Kate McEwen saw limited action in 11 of Nebraska's 29 games through the 1995-96 season.  She recorded three points and seven rebounds on the season while also producing two assists and a steal.

All three of McEwen's points came in the season-opening win against Gonzaga. 

Redshirt Freshman (1994-95)
As a redshirt freshman, McEwen played limited minutes in 22 games, as she was coming back from back surgery.  She averaged 0.9 points and 0.7 rebounds, scoring a career-high five points at Missouri late in the season as she nailed a 3-pointer and two free throws.

McEwen also made a career-high two field goals in three attempts against Colgate and had a career-high two steals and two assists in her longest outing of the season (14 minutes).  In addition, she grabbed a career-high two rebounds five times.

Redshirt (1993-94)
McEwen played in six games, scoring four points and averaging 0.7 points and 1.0 rebounds per game.  She was a perfect 4-for-4 from the free-throw line.  In addition, she produced six rebounds four assists, two steals and one blocked shot.  Back surgery ended her season early, but she later regained the year of eligibility through a medical hardship.
