Junior (1990-91)
A walk-on to the Nebraska program after a fine junior college career at Lincoln (Neb.) College, Johanna Machmer appeared in six games for the Huskers in her only season on the court in 1990-91. She earned a letter at Nebraska in 1992 after serving as a manager during her final season with the Huskers.
Machmer finished the season with four points, which came on 4-of-6 shooting at the free throw line, while adding three rebounds, one assist, one steal and one blocked shot in 10 minutes of action.
The 5-8 guard from Greenville, Ill., appeared in two Big Eight Conference contests, scoring two points on a pair of free throws while adding one rebound.
Lincoln College (1988-89, 1989-90)
A smooth three-guard at Lincoln College, Machmer was one of the team's top rebounders and an 81 percent free throw shooter as a sophomore in 1989-90. She was named the team's most improved player following her sophomore season. She was also a member of the Dean's List.
She attended Lincoln College after attending Greenville High School in Illinois.
