1998-99 Sophomore
Jill Fosdick came out of a redshirt season in 1997-98 to see action in six games.  Fosdick hit 40 percent of her shots from the field, connecting on 4 of 10 attempts.  Averaging 3.3 minutes per game, Fosdick produced 1.5 points and rebounds per game and recorded a steal.

Fosdick did not return to the Huskers after the 1998-99 season.

1996-97 Freshman
As a true freshman walk-on, Fosdick appeared in eight games for the Huskers.  She played a total of 13 minutes, averaging 1.6 minutes per game.  Fosdick scored four points and grabbed four offensive rebounds, while connecting on both of her free throw attempts on the season.

Fosdick set season highs with two points and three rebounds against Bucknell, when she hit a pair of free throws.  She added two points on her first career field goal in the Huskers' win over Oklahoma on Jan. 26.

She posted averages of 1.0 points and 0.5 rebounds per game during Big 12 Conference play.

High School
Fosdick led Lincoln (Neb.) Pius X High School to a Class B state runner-up finish as a senior in 1996 for Coach Jeff DeVries.  Fosdick was the honorary captain of the all-city girls' basketball squad after earning her third basketball letter for the Thunderbolts.

Personal
Fosdick is the daugther of Michael and Jane Fosdick.  She has four sisters, April, Kim, Jena, and Breanna.  She also has a brother named Blake.  At Nebraska, Fosdick was a broadcasting major.
