Senior (2006-07)
Chelsea Aubry (pronounced O-bree) closed a solid four-year Nebraska career with a strong senior season while leading Nebraska to its first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2000. Along the way, Aubry joined fellow four-year senior Kiera Hardy as the only two Huskers in history to make four straight postseason tournament appearances.

Aubry, a three-year team captain, led Nebraska to one of the best seasons in school history with a 22-10 overall record and a 10-6 Big 12 Conference mark as a senior. NU's 22 victories were just one shy of the school record and the Huskers' league record earned them a first-round bye in the Big 12 Tournament for the first time since 1997-98.

Individually, Aubry captured honorable-mention All-Big 12 accolades while earning second-team academic All-Big 12 honors for the second time in her career.

A true power forward, Aubry showed her abilities both inside and out by leading the Huskers and ranking in a tie for second in the Big 12 with her 43.4 percent success rate from three-point range. Aubry's three-point field goal percentage ranked No. 2 on the Huskers' single-season chart, and she also ranked fifth at Nebraska in career three-point percentage (36.4 percent). With 78 three-pointers made in her career, Aubry became the first forward to crack NU's career top 10 in that category.

She finished her senior season averaging 8.4 points and 4.5 rebounds per game, closing her career with 898 points and 539 rebounds during her four-year stint in Lincoln. Aubry started 90 games at NU, including 78 straight to end her career.

Aubry scored a career-high 26 points on 11-of-13 shooting from the field in the Huskers' 76-66 win at Missouri on Jan. 20. It was one of her 11 double-figure scoring performances as a senior. She had 18 points, including 4-for-4 shooting from three-point range, in a win over Michigan on Dec. 9.  She matched her career high with four more three-pointers in five attempts to finish with 16 points in Nebraska's 94-74 win over eventual NCAA Sweet 16 qualifier North Carolina State in the first round of the State Farm Classic in Gainesville, Fla., on Dec. 28. Aubry's 4-for-5 effort against the Wolfpack capped an amazing 10-game stretch in which she hit 17-of-23 three-pointers (73.9 percent).

Aubry added seven points and 11 rebounds against Florida on Dec. 29 to help the Huskers win the tournament title. She pulled down a career-high 12 rebounds to go along with eight points in a win at Kansas State on Feb. 7.

She entered her final season at Nebraska after an extended summer playing with the Canadian National Team at the 2006 FIBA World Championships. A three-year member of the Canadian Senior National Team, Aubry helped the Canadians qualify for the their first spot in the World Championships since 1994. Aubry helped the Canadians notch a victory over Senegal in the tournament by nearly posting a double-double with nine points and 10 rebounds. In eight tournament games, she averaged 4.4 points and 3.4 rebounds in more than 20 minutes per contest.

Junior (2005-06)
Aubry made the move from power forward to the wing after the season-ending knee injury to Jelena Spiric in fall practice. Aubry's scoring average dipped from her sophomore season, but her assist and steals totals increased.

Aubry ranked second on the team with 27 three-pointers on the year, including the go-ahead three in the closing minutes of the Huskers' win over Colorado in the first round of the Big 12 Tournament on March 7.

She averaged 6.2 points per game, while contributing 4.4 rebounds per contest.

Aubry produced double figures seven times, including 10 points in NU's WNIT second-round win at Wyoming. She added 13 points with a trio of three-pointers in a win over Iowa State on Feb. 1. She opened Big 12 play with 10 points on 5-of-5 shooting at Colorado on Jan. 4, before adding nine points in a win over Kansas on Jan. 7.

Aubry added 11 points and five rebounds against Missouri on Jan. 11, before scoring 10 points with a season high trio of three-pointers at Iowa State.

She scored a season-high 18 points in NU's win over Creighton on Nov. 21, and added 13 points to start NU's winning streak against Texas Southern on Dec. 7.

Sophomore (2004-05)
Aubry established herself as a leader for the Huskers as a sophomore, leading Nebraska in rebounding and ranking as NU’s second-leading scorer in 2004-05. She averaged 9.2 points and 5.1 boards per game on the season, while also ranking second on the team with her 38.2 percent shooting from three-point range (13-34).

Aubry finished the season strong by averaging 10 points and four rebounds per game in the SportsView.TV Postseason WNIT. She hit all four of her three-point attempts in the two tournament games, including a season-best 3-for-3 effort from beyond the arc in NU’s 66-57 win at Marquette in the opening round on March 17.

She added 15 points and six rebounds in the Huskers’ first-round Big 12 Tournament win over Oklahoma State on March 8, after closing the regular season with 14 points (all in the second half) and six boards at Colorado. She also tied a career high with two blocks against the Buffaloes.

On the season, Aubry scored in double figures on 11 occasions, including three of NU’s final five games. She opened the season with four straight double-figure scoring efforts.

Aubry produced her best performance with a season-high 20 points in a perfect shooting night in the Huskers’ 73-59 win at Texas A&M on Feb. 16. She hit all seven of her field goal attempts, including her only three-point attempt of the night, while knocking down all five of her free throws against the Aggies.

Aubry was at her best down the stretch against the Aggies, scoring 10 of Nebraska’s final 17 points in the last 5:36 of the game. Behind Aubry’s strong play, NU was able to turn a 56-53 lead with 5:49 left into a 14-point victory.

In NU’s 88-59 win over No. 14 Iowa State on Feb. 12, Aubry was solid with nine points, six rebounds and a season-high three steals. That followed on the heels of a 10-point, eight-rebound performance in a loss at No. 17 Texas on Feb. 9.

In the Huskers’ 70-51 win over Oklahoma on Feb. 6, Aubry scored seven points and pulled down a season-high 11 rebounds to help the Huskers snap a six-game losing streak to the Sooners.

Aubry started Nebraska’s first 12 games, helping NU to an 8-4 record as a starter before suffering a foot injury in practice on Jan. 1. She sat out two weeks with the injury, missing NU’s first three conference games (Colorado, at Missouri, Baylor), before coming off the bench in NU’s next three league contests (at Kansas State, Texas Tech, at Iowa State).

Before the injury, Aubry ranked third on the team in scoring with 10.1 points per game, while ranking second on the squad with 5.0 rebounds per game.

Nebraska’s first-ever Canadian women’s basketball player, Aubry opened the season strong by scoring a then-career-high 16 points to go along with six rebounds in the Huskers’ 74-71 win over Western Illinois in the SportsView.TV Preseason WNIT on Nov. 12.

She added 16 points and four boards in the second round at No. 10 Notre Dame on Nov. 14. In the loss to the Fighting Irish, Aubry knocked down a pair of three-pointers.

In NU’s win over Washington State on Nov. 22, she produced 16 points. Aubry just missed her first career double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds in a win over Southeastern Louisiana on Dec. 1.

Aubry added double-figure scoring efforts with 11 points against Northern Colorado and 11 points in the win over Louisiana-Lafayette on Dec. 20.

Freshman (2003-04)
Aubry was a solid contributor both offensively and defensively for the Huskers in her first season. She finished the season averaging 5.5 points and 3.5 rebounds per game while playing in all 30 contests.

Aubry established season highs with 12 points and nine rebounds in 27 minutes of action in Nebraska's win over Texas-Arlington on Dec. 6. She added a second 12-point effort in a loss at Kansas State on Feb. 14, and matched her season best with nine rebounds against Kansas and again in NU's win over Drake in the opening round of the Women's National Invitation Tournament.

For the season, she scored in double figures on six occasions, including 11 points and five boards in NU's season-opening victory over Wofford. She added 10-point efforts against St. Bonaventure, Texas A&M and Texas Tech. She matched her season high with 27 minutes played against the Lady Raiders.

High School
Aubry began playing basketball just nine years ago after giving up soccer and dance. As a power forward for Grand River Collegiate Institute, Aubry also played volleyball and rugby for the Renegades. She averaged 15 points and 15 rebounds per game for Coach Kathy Brooks as a senior.

Aubry was the school’s junior and senior athlete of the year. She was also a member of the provincial champion Waterloo Wildhawks club team coached by Dave Hollinger.

Along with attending the Nike All-Canada Camp in Toronto, which featured 72 of the top players in the country, Aubry was also selected as one of the top-five high school players in Ontario.

Personal
The daughter of Rick and Shelley Aubry, Chelsea has an older sister, Shauna, and a younger brother, Alex. Chelsea was born on June 27, 1984, in Oshawa, Ontario.

Aubry earned her bachelor's degree in international business from Nebraska in May of 2008. She earned second-team academic All-Big 12 honors in 2005 and 2007 and was a four-time selection to the Big 12 Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll.

Aubry chose Nebraska over Iowa State, Michigan State, Vermont and Toledo among the many schools that recruited her.
