1999-00 (Senior)
Brooke Schwartz earned a place in Nebraska history by ranking 18th on NU's all-time scoring list with 1,243 points.  She also ranked sixth on the Husker charts with 223 career steals.  Schwartz also ranks among the top 15 in Nebraska history with 295 career assists.

Schwartz earned honorable-mention All-Big 12 honors by averaging 13.0 points and 3.8 rebounds per game as a senior.  She started all 31 games for the Huskers and ranked second on the team in scoring.  She added 3.0 assists per game, while ranking eighth in the Big 12 with 2.2 steals per game.

Schwartz scored in double figures 21 times, including three games of 20 or more points.  She posted a career high with 31 points against Drake, which broke her previous scoring mark of 25 points, which she set against Wisconsin.

Schwartz produced four points-rebounds double-doubles during her career.

1998-99 (Junior)
Schwartz captured third-team All-Big 12 Conference honors by averaging 13.2 points and a team-high 5.9 rebounds per game.  She led the Huskers on the boards despite being the shortest player (5-9) in Nebraska's starting lineup.

Schwartz ranked 16th in the conference in rebounds.  She was Nebraska's second-leading scorer and ranked 18th in the Big 12.  She ranked 15th in the league with 3.2 assists per game and eighth in the Big 12 with 2.2 steals per game.  She was at her best in Big 12 play, averaging 14.1 points and 6.0 rebounds.

Schwartz scored a game-high 20 points while adding five rebounds, four assists and four steals to lead Nebraska to a 68-67 win over No. 15 Iowa State.  She added 24 points, including five three-pointers at Kansas.  She scored 20 or more points on four occasions, including a 22-point effort against No. 12 UCLA.  Schwartz posted 14 points and a career-high 15 rebounds at Texas.

Schwartz ranked second among the Huskers with 106 assists, and her 72 steals were tied for the 10th-best season in school history.

1997-98 (Sophomore)
Schwartz played a key role in the Huskers' push to the NCAA Tournament in 1997-98.  She started the Huskers' final nine games and finished the season as Nebraska's fifth-leading scorer, averaging 7.8 points and 3.9 rebounds per contest.

She scored a season-high 21 points at Iowa State which earned her a starting job the rest of the way.  She followed with four straight double-figure performances as a starter.  She added a 16-point, five-rebound effort in an NCAA Tournament win over New Mexico after rebounding from a calf injury.

Schwartz posted double figures in 13 of 32 games.  The only game she missed was the Huskers' win over No. 11 Alabama.  She recorded the first double-double of her career with 12 points and 11 rebounds at Missouri.  In Big 12 action, Schwartz averaged 7.8 points and 4.5 rebounds.

1996-97 (Freshman)
Schwartz was the leading scorer off the bench, averaging 5.6 points per game, playing in all 28 contests and contributing 2.7 rebounds.

Schwartz showed her maturity in the win over No. 9 Iowa, when she hit two free throws with 13 seconds remaining to seal the victory.  She made her only start against Baylor and finished with seven points.

Schwartz scored in double figures seven times and had a season-best 14 points against both Pacific and Missouri.  She averaged 4.1 points and 2.7 rebounds, while playing in all 16 Big 12 games.

High School
Schwartz averaged 26.9 points, 10.4 rebounds, 6.1 assists and 8.2 steals as a senior at Gering High School.  She was twice named to the Super-State all-state team and earned Class B first-team all-state honors three times.

Schwartz qualified for the state track meet four times in the high jump, finishing second as both a junior and senior.  She was named to the all-state volleyball team on three occasions.

Personal
Schwartz was born April 21, 1977, in Beatrice, Neb.  The daughter of Steve and Cyndie Schwartz, she has a twin brother, Travis, and another brother, Tory, as well as a sister, Kerri.  Schwartz graduated from Nebraska in 2001.

Schwartz was named the head coach at Pratt (Kan.) Community College in April of 2006, after serving as  an assistant coach at Garden City (Kan.) Community College during the 2005-06 season. She served as the head coach at Pratt CC in 2006-07 and 2007-08. She has spent several years as a college basketball official, and in August of 2017 graduated from the Nebraska State Patrol Training Academy. She now works as a technical trainer for ToolWatch in Englewood, Colo.
