Team 1988-89 Nebraska Women's Basketball

Senior (1988-89)
Amy Bullock was a consistent leader for the Huskers on the court, dishing out a team-high 142 assists and 34 steals.  Bullock was almost perfect from the free-throw line, hitting 95 percent (19-20) of her attempts.  She also hit 43.2 percent from the floor. 

On three different occasions, Bullock produced double-digit rebounding efforts, averaging 1.9 per game complimented by her 3.2 points per game average.

Junior (1987-88)
After transferring to Nebraska from Barton County (Kan.) Junior College, Bullock immediately earned a starting job for the Huskers.  Bullock started 21 games for NU and averaged 2.0 points, 1.5 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game.

Bullock had game highs of 10 points against Texas A&M, eight assists against Oklahoma State, three steals against Kansas State and twice grabbed four rebounds.

Personal
Bullock is the daughter of Warren and Helen Bullock.  She was born Sept. 22, 1966, in Norton, Kan.  She earned a spot on the 1987-88 Big Eight Conference Academic Honor Roll with a 3.425 grade-point average in physical education.  She received her degree in 1989.
