2000-01 (Senior)
The only four-year player on the Huskers' 2000-01 roster, Amanda Went closed a solid career at Nebraska.  The 5-9 guard from Columbus, Neb., averaged 7.5 points and 2.5 rebounds per game, while playing in all 30 games as a senior.  Went started 16 games and led NU with 31 three-pointers.  Went's 96 career three-pointers rank sixth in school history, and her 34.2 percent career three-point field goal percentage ranks sixth in the NU record book.

Went hit 76.2 percent of her free throw attempts as a senior and produced 10 double-figure scoring performances, including her first career double-double with 11 points, 10 rebounds in NU's win over Houston on Nov. 22.  She scored a career-high 18 points and grabbed six rebounds in a win over East Carolina on Dec. 30.  Her 67 assists and 2.2 assists per game ranked second on the squad.

1999-2000 (Junior)
Went was one of NU's top reserves, playing in all 31 games, including her first career start agasint UAB, while averaging 5.8 points and 1.6 rebounds per game.  She hit 33.7 percent (32-95) of her attempts from three-point range.  Went's 32 three-pointers tied Nicole Kubik's 32 trifectas for the team lead.  Went shot 36.6 percent overall from the field and 62.9 percent from the free throw line.

Went scored a season-high 17 points and grabbed six rebounds in a win over Missouri on Jan. 18.  She added a career-high eight assists at Wyoming and tied a career high with four three-pointers in a home win over Colorado.  She added four three-pointers in NU's Big 12 Tournament win over Baylor.  Went scored double figures seven times, including four in Big 12 games.

1998-99 (Sophomore)
Went connected on 36.3 percent of her three-point attempts.  Her 33 three-pointers trailed only Nicole Kubik (35) and Brooke Schwartz (34) for the team lead.  Went averaged 5.7 points and 1.9 boards per game.  In a Big 12 Tournament semifinal loss to No. 9 Texas Tech, Went tied a season high with 14 points.  She also scored 14 points on a 4-of-5 effort from three-point range to help the Huskers defeat Colorado.  She scored double figures six times, including 12 points and a career-high five steals in a win over South Alabama.  She added 12 points at Creighton, and produced back-to-back double-figure scoring efforts against Montana and North Texas with 10 points in each game.  In the classroom, Went earned frist-team academic All-Big 12 honors.

1997-98 (Freshman)
Went played in 14 games, including one game in Big 12 play, before tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in her left knee in January.  She underwent surgery on Jan. 17.  Before the injury, Went averaged 6.8 minutes per game, scoring 13 points with 12 rebounds and 11 assists on the season.  She saw 13 minutes of action in NU's win over Miami (Ohio).

Went played 16 minutes in a 74-66 win over No. 11/10 Alabama, scoring two points with two assists against Creighton.  For the season, she averaged 0.9 points, 0.9 rebounds and 0.8 assists per game.  She saw her only Big 12 action in a win over Kansas State on Jan. 4.  Despite missing the second half of the season, Went earned first-team academic All-Big 12 honors.

High School
Went was a three-time all-state pick for coach Dave Scheel at Columbus High, averaging 14 points, five rebounds and 3.5 assists per game as a senior.  She helped Columbus to the state semifinals in 1996.  She was a second-team Super-State pick as a junior and senior.  As a junior, Went averaged 17.5 points, 2.2 assists and 1.8 steals and hit 43 percent (43-95) from three-point range.  She was a member of the Daubert-Woodman Junior All-Star team that won a national championship in Washington, D.C., in 1995.  She led the Daubert-Woodman team in 1996.

A four-time All-Greater Nebraska Athletic Conference pick, Went earned 11 varsity letters, including four in basketball, four in track and field and three in volleyball.  In track, Went competed in the 100 and 300 hurdles.  Went was named academic all-conference in track and field and was a member of the Columbus High honor roll.

Personal
Amanda was born on May 17, 1979, in Columbus.  The daughter of Terry and Linda Went, Amanda has two sisters, Tara and Lindsay, and a brother, Trevor.  Amanda received her bachelor's degree in marketing.
