Chris Daniels joined the Nebraska track and field coaching staff as a volunteer assistant in 2018-19. Daniels helps coach the throwers.
A former Husker thrower himself, Daniels owns the No. 8 mark in NU history in the hammer throw with his personal-best mark of 204-9 (62.42m), set on May 11, 2018 during his senior season. Daniels won two individual event titles during his Husker career and finished 12th in the hammer throw at the 2018 Big Ten Outdoor Championships with his PR.
Daniels graduated from the University of Nebraska in May 2018 with a degree in French.
