2020 (Redshirt/COVID-19 Pandemic)
Indoor: Redshirted...competing unattached, posted a season-best high jump clearance of 6-10 1/4 (2.09m) at the Graduate Classic.
Outdoor: Due to the global coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the 2020 outdoor season was not contested. To help combat the spread of the virus, both the Big Ten Conference and the University of Nebraska suspended all team activities, effective March 13.
2019 (Sophomore)
Indoor: Placed second in the high jump at the Big Ten Indoor Championships with a personal-best leap of 7-1 (2.16m)...won the high jump crown at the Mark Colligan Memorial.
Outdoor: Finished eighth in the high jump at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships with a height of 6-11 (2.11m)...qualified for the NCAA West Preliminary Round and finished 17th with a clearance of 6-11 (2.11m)...set a personal-best of 7-1 1/2 (2.17m) at the Texas Relays to win the high jump title...also won the high jump crown at the Husker Invite.
Before Nebraska
Competed in the high jump for one year at Wichita State before transferring to NU…earned the high jump crown at the Shocker Prelude and Herm Wilson Invitational…his indoor PR in the high jump was 6-9 1/2 (2.07m) at the Shocker Prelude…also finished fifth in the long jump at the Herm Wilson Invitational with a leap of 21-2 1/2 (6.46m)…his indoor personal-best in the long jump was 21-2 3/4 (6.47m)…during the outdoor season won the high jump at the Emporia State Relays and K.T. Woodman Classic with identical jumps of 6-8 (2.03m), which is also his outdoor PR…finished fifth in the 200m at the Shocker Open with a time of 22.49 and also competed in the decathlon and finished eighth at the K.T. Woodman Classic with a score of 5,928…finished eighth in the high jump at the All-American Outdoor Championships with a leap of 6-8 (2.03m)…attended St. Paul High School in Nebraska and lettered four years in track and field and basketball, three in football and one in cross country.
