Indoor: Finished fourth in the heptathlon at the Big Ten Indoor Championships with 5,497 points, a new personal best and the No. 7 mark in school history...also placed ninth in the long jump with an indoor PR of 23-11 (7.29m)...set new personal bests in five of the seven heptathlon events throughout the course of the season.
Outdoor: Placed 10th in the long jump at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships with a mark of 23-5 1/2 (7.15m)...posted a long jump wind-aided personal best of 24-7 1/4 (7.50m) at the Texas Tech Red Raider Shootout and also at the NCAA West Preliminary Round, where he finished 26th...posted a score of 5,877 in the decathlon at the Spec Towns Invitational...set personal records at the Specs Towns Invitational in the 100m (11.20), 400m (47.99), 110m hurdles (14.89), shot put (38-8 3/4, 11.80m) and javelin (188-5, 57.42m).
2016 (Sophomore)
Indoor: Placed sixth in the heptathlon at the Big Ten Indoor Championships with 5,226 points...took third at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational with a season-best total of 5,318 points...set a pole vault season best of 15-5 (4.70m) at the Frank Sevigne meet...also posted a shot put best of 35-10 (10.92m)...won the heptathlon high jump and long jump at the Frank Sevigne Invite.
Outdoor: Joined the Nebraska football team in the spring and did not compete in track and field.
2015 (Redshirt Freshman)
Indoor: Scored 5,371 points in the heptathlon on the oversized track at the Big Ten Indoor Championships to finish seventh...scored 5,250 points to take runner-up at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational...set season bests in the 60m hurdles (8.51), 60m (7.09), high jump (6-7 1/2, 2.02m) and long jump (23-3 1/2, 7.10m)...won the high jump title at the Prairie Wolf Invitational (6-6 1/4, 1.99m).
Outdoor: Battled injuries throughout the season but was able to compete at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships, finishing 19th in both the long jump (21-8 1/4, 6.61m) and javelin (160-1, 48.79m)...threw a javelin season best of 176-0 (53.66m) at the Musco Invitational to finish seventh...set a wind-aided 110m hurdles season best of 15.26 at the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays.
2014 (Redshirt)
Indoor: Redshirted...competed in four meets unattached...participated in the heptathlon at the Frank Sevigne Invite and amassed a total score of 4,864 to finish sixth...best finishes outside of the heptathlon were a pair of fifth-place long jump showings...recorded a time of 2:46.78 in the 1,000 meters.
Outdoor: Redshirted...competed unattached in the javelin, throwing 150-5 (45.84m) at the Air Force Relays.
Before Nebraska
Joined the Huskers from Vista Ridge High School in Colorado Springs, Colorado...recorded bests of 10.80 in the 100 meters, 21.77 in the 200 meters, 47.99 in the 400 meters, 41.73 in the 300-meter hurdles, 6-4 (1.93) in the high jump and 23-10 (7.26m) in the long jump...won the long jump title at the 2013 Colorado High School 4A State Championships with a leap of 23-10 (7.26m)...finished fourth in the 200 meters at the 2013 Colorado High School 4A State Championships with a time of 21.77...anchored the 4x400-meter relay team to the 2013 4A state title and the meet record...named the 2013 All-Colorado Boys Track and Field Athlete of the Year by the Denver Post...also named to the 4x400-meter Relay Team of the Year, the Long Jumper of the Year and the Class 4A Athlete of the Year.
