Indoor: Set a shot put personal best of 53-10 1/4 (16.41m) at the Nebraska Tune-Up, placing eighth...competed in five meets, including a third-place shot put finish at the Holiday Inn Invitational.
Outdoor: Finished third at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships with a mark of 184-4 (56.19m)...finished second at the NWU Spring Invitational with a mark of 177-3 (54.04m).
Before Nebraska
Attended Blue Springs High School in Blue Springs, Missouri and is also a defensive lineman for the Husker football team...helped lead Blue Springs to a 2015 Class 5 Missouri State Championship title by finishing second in both the shot put and discus, behind only his twin brother, Carlos...recorded a shot put prep best of 62-3 to set a meet record and school record at the Gary Parker Invitational...on the football field, was a first-team Class 6 all-state selection by the Missouri High School Coaches Association and earned All-Metro honors from the Kansas City Star.

Born Aug. 22, 1996...son of Carl and Tracy Davis...has a twin brother, Carlos, who is also on the Nebraska track and field and football teams...is the younger of the twins by five minutes...major is fisheries & wildlife.
