Outdoor: Finished 20th in the 400m at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships...ran the 200m in a personal-best wind-aided 20.94 at the Tom Botts Invitational to finish second...ran a season-best 47.09 in the 400m at the Texas Tech Red Raider Shootout, finishing fifth...placed second with the 4x100m relay at the John Jacobs Invitational (40.53).
2016 (Freshman)
Indoor: Earned a 10th-place finish with the 4x400-meter relay team at the NCAA Indoor Championships to take second-team All-America honors...finished fifth in the 400m at the Big Ten Indoor Championships with an oversized track time of 46.69, a personal best...ran 47.71 at altitude at the New Mexico Team Invitational...was part of the 4x400m relay that placed second at the Big Ten Championships with a time of 3:06.47...won three event titles with the 4x400m relay throughout the season.
Outdoor: Finished third in the 4x400m relay at the Drake Relays with a time of 3:07.71...set wind-legal PRs of 21.24 in the 200m and 46.67 in the 400m.
Before Nebraska
At Hallandale High School in Florida, opened up the 2015 outdoor season with the then-fastest 400m time in the nation of 47.55 at the Louie Bing Classic...ran the third-fastest time in Florida with a 400m prep best of 47.26 after being invited to compete for Team Florida at the Great Southwest Invitational...set a 200m prep best of 21.33...finished second in the Florida 2A state meet in the 400m in 2014 in his first year of track...was the 2015 2A state champion in the 400m and third in the 200m...won the 400m at the Florida 2A region meet and the district meet...was a two-time All-Broward County first-team selection.
