Lazaro redshirted the 2013 season... competed unattached in the javelin at the Pre-Drake Meet, posting a throw of 158-1 (48.18)... claimed spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the fall and spring semesters.
Before Nebraska (Southwest)
Lazaro joined the Huskers from Lincoln Southwest High School in Lincoln, Neb... posted personal bests of 11.18 in the 100 meters, 22.52 in the 200 meters and 15.62 in the 110-meter hurdles... ran the second leg of the 4x100-meter relay team that broke the Lincoln Southwest record with a time of 42.38... helped the 4x100-meter relay team to a third-place finish at the 2012 Nebraska State Track and Field Championships... member of the 4x100-meter relay team that was an All-City selection for the 2012 season.
