Alex VanLent redshirted the 2013 indoor season... posted a personal-best time of 22.98 in the 200 meters at the NWU Invite... notched a time of 50.77 in the 400 meters at the NWU Invite... recorded a personal-best time of 1:22.73 in the 600 meters at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invite.

Before Nebraska (Omaha Westside)
VanLent joined the Huskers from Omaha Westside High School in Omaha, Neb... has recorded personal bests of 6.63 in the 55 meters, 22.49 in the 200 meters and 49.74 in the 400 meters... posted a fifth-place finish in the 400 meters at the 2012 Nebraska Class A State Track and Field Championships with a time of 50.62... finished sixth in the 400 meters at the 2011 Nebraska Class A State Track and Field Championships with a time of 49.90... was a district runner-up in the 400 meters.
