2008 (Senior / No Eligibility)
 
Sheryl Morgan capped off her Husker career with her first NCAA All-America honor... finished fourth in the 400 meters in Fayetteville, Ark., with a time of 53.53 at the NCAA Indoor Championships... set personal best and ninth best time in Husker history... captured her second Big 12 Championship after winning her first during the 2007 outdoor season... defeated two-time champion Morgan Bonds of Kansas State in the indoor 600-yard run with a personal-best time of 1:20.63... ranks No. 11 all-time in the Husker record books... ran the 600-yard run twice during the year... finished first both times at the adidas Classic and Big 12 Championships... ran the 400 meters four times during the year running under 55 seconds each time... recorded best time at the Iowa State Last Chance with a 53.08... was the ninth-best time Division I entering the NCAA Indoor Meet... did not compete in the outdoor season as no eligibility remaining.

2007 (Junior / Senior) 
Competed in the 400-meter hurdles at the 2007 NCAA outdoor championships... focused solely on the hurdles outdoors for the first time as a Husker after previously running primarily the open 400... qualified for her first national meet by winning the NCAA Midwest Regional title in the hurdles in Des Moines (57.41)... ended an eight-year Texas Longhorn Big 12 winning streak in the 400 hurdles by posting a winning time of 57.04 during her final appearance at NU's Ed Weir Stadium... the win marked the first by a Husker at a conference meet since Susan Hendrick in 1991... the meet was the culmination of five straight races with Morgan setting season-best times... also ran anchor for NU's eighth-place 4x400-meter relay... started her run with a time of 59.33 at the Kansas Relays... earned her first victory of the outdoor season at the John Jacobs Invite (59.43)... won her only open 400 race of the year in a regional-qualifying 53.24 at the Nebraska Open... looked to have an excellent shot at challenging for the Big 12 indoor title in the open 400 before suffering a fall on the final curve... placed seventh in the race, as well as eighth with the 4x400 team... posted indoor victories in the 400 during the Conference Challenge (55.45) and Prairie Wolf Invite (season-best 54.24).

 

2006 (Sophomore / Junior) 
Morgan was Nebraska’s leader in the 400-meter dash both indoors and outdoors, while adding a talented leg on the 4x400-meter relay squad... placed seventh in the 400 at both Big 12 Indoor (season-best 55.55) and Outdoor (54.35) Championships, while running the lead leg of the Huskers’ sixth-place 4x400-meter relay (3:44.50) indoors... met the NCAA regional qualification in the 400 with a runner-up placing in 53.60 at the Nebraska Invitational... led the winning 4x400-meter relay squad to an indoor season-best clocking of 3:44.34 at Nebraska-Colorado State-Kent State Triangular... claimed second place outdoors in the 400 at the Emporia State Relays (55.27)... added runner-up finishes indoors in the 600-yard run at the Holiday Inn Invite (1:27.22), the 200 at the adidas Classic (25.01), and the 400 at the Nebraska Triangular (56.01) and Prairie Wolf Invite (56.40).

 

2005 (Freshman / Sophomore) 
Morgan scored in two events at both conference meets during her first season at Nebraska... earned a fourth-place finish indoors in the 400 meters (54.14), while running the second leg of NU’s fourth-place 4x400-meter relay (3:38.04)... also ran legs for the Huskers’ fifth-place 4x400-meter (3:39.07) and sixth-place 4x100-meter (45.18) relays at the outdoor Big 12 meet... qualified for the NCAA Midwest Regional in the 400-meter hurdles with a season-best 59.94 at the Texas Relays ... competed at regionals, but was unable to advance to the finals... also qualified for regionals in the 400 meters by finishing runner-up at the Nebraska Invite (54.39)... opened the outdoor season by winning the 400 hurdles at the Stanford Invite (1:01.17)... began her Husker career indoors with a second-place clocking of 1:23.35 in the 600 yards at the Holiday Inn Invite... won the 200 meters at the adidas Classic in 24.24, while finishing third in the 60 meters in 7.62... both marks are career bests... ran legs on NU’s winning 4x400-meter relays at the Holiday Inn Invite (3:46.29), Frank Sevigne Husker Invite (3:39.01) and Iowa State Classic (3:38.89).

 

Before Nebraska (George C. Foster College)
Morgan was the 2004 Jamaican University 400-meter dash champion (53.79)... ran a personal-best 11.4 in the 100 meters in Clarendon on Feb. 7... ran the third leg of the 4x400-meter relay only in the prelims for the Jamaican team that went on to capture the fifth place at the 2004 World Junior Championships in Budapest, Hugary. 

 

High School (Holmwood Tech)
Won three Jamaican Girls Championships in the 400-meter dash in 2001 (53.04), 2002 (52.87) and 2003 (52.69) under Coach Maurice Wilson... won 2002 and 2003 girls championships in the 400-meter hurdles with respective times of 56.81 and 58.20... third in the 2001 girls championship 200-meter dash with a personal-best 23.98... also third in the 2002 girls championship 200-meter dash... 2003 Penn Relays high school 400-meter hurdle champion (58.15)... was the 400-meter champion at the Central America and Caribbean Junior Championships, Carifta Games, and Jamaican National Junior Championships in 2002... was the 400-meter bronze medalist at the 2002 World Junior Championships with her clocking of 52.61... won a silver medal while running the third leg of the 4x400-meter relay
(3:31.23) at the 2003 World Indoor Championships in Lisbon, Portugal.
