2004: Kyle Doperalski placed sixth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships with a career-best time of 9:13.75... claimed silver at both the Concordia Invitational and Nebraska Quadrangular in the steeplechase with then-personal-low times of 9:28.13 and 9:19.66, respectively... also set a career-low clocking of 4:02.06 in the 1,500 meters at the Nebraska Wesleyan Twilight (fifth)... missed the indoor track season while recovering from an injury. 2003: Doperalski redshirted in 2003... competed unattached in several meets... won the Prairie Wolf Invitational 3,000-meter run in an indoor personal best of 8:38.12... time of 14:57.19 at the Cyclone NCAA Indoor Qualifier was also a personal-best mark indoors for 5,000 meters... won the Kansas Relays 10,000-meter run in 30:43.92, which slashed over a minute off his previous best time... ran 9:34.18 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase to win the Polar Dog Invitational.
