High School: Marc Anthony Holt will redshirt his freshman year as he learns to throw the hammer... won bronze in the discus at the 2003 Illinois Class AA state meet with a throw of 171-11... took second place at the 2002 Illinois Class AA state meet with a throw of 174-0... threw a personal-best mark of 57-10 in the shot put at the 2003 Sectional Meet in Thornridge, Ill.... launched a career-best throw of 182-5 in the discus at the 2003 Conant Invitational... was fourth in the discus (169-0) and fifth in the shot (53-3 1/2) at the 2003 Senior Spotlight meet in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
